Week 1: Confident Kids

Categories

Set aside two to three days this week to work on the following:

Warm Up:
– 5-minute run with Skips, Shuffle inside and outside, butt kicks
– Duck Walks
– Bunny Hops
– Bear Crawls
– Crab Walks
– 10-10-10-10 (push-ups, sit-ups, jump overs, squats)
– 45-second plank

Circuit (3 sets of the following circuit):
– High Knees in Place – 30 seconds
– REST – 10 seconds
– Squats – 30 seconds
– REST – 10 seconds
– Plank – 30 seconds
– REST – 10 seconds

Techniques:
– Rear Ukemi 5 x 2 sets
– Forward Rolling Ukemi 5 x 3 sets
– Osoto Gari Shadow Drill 5 x 4 sets
– Pancake Drill 5 x 3 sets (both directions)
– Leg Scissor Shadow Drill 5 x 3 sets (both directions)
– IF YOU HAVE PARTNER: Drill 5 Front Arm Hook Turnovers

Homework:
– Set A Goal For Yourself
– Say please and thank you
– Offer to help around the house EVERY DAY
– Make your bed EVERY MORNING
– Clean up after yourself (toys, food, etc) right after using
– Post a photo or video of yourself when you train at home
